Personalized Wedding Plan – Gans & Healy

Personalized Wedding Plan Gans & Healy

Wedding Date: Tentatively January 30, 2021
Ceremony & Reception Location: Dallas or East Texas Ranch

Setting the Scene

Abby and Rogers both went to the same high school here in Dallas, but Rogers was a few years ahead of Abby and they never knew each other in their time there. He spotted her dining with her Mom over six years ago and walked up and asked her out. While the timing wasn’t right after their first date they ran into each other again last year at the Mi Cocina Monkey Bar and the stars aligned. Abby and Rogers have been engaged since last weekend and are ready to get started with their planning.

They are looking to plan a wedding on January 30, 2021 (tentatively) with a ceremony at Highland Park United Methodist Church and an as yet chosen venue here in Dallas. There is also the possibility of an East Texas Ranch Wedding as well, so there are still a few options on the table. Most importantly though they want something that is a little different from everyone else. They will have between 200 and 600 guests (they are still working on the list) and are open to either a seated or a station style reception.

While they both lean towards a style that is more traditional with a modern twist, they believe in an understated less is more type of atmosphere that truly reflects them as a couple and one that will stand the test of time. They are both into food as well so the meal is a very important aspect of the evening, especially for Rogers, while Abby’s focus will be on the decor and making sure that their eventual reception space feels full yet appropriate to make their event truly intimate.

Abby & Rogers are interested in a planning package that includes both vendor and logistics support and overall concept and design. They will have a wedding with a large number of their friends in attendance and are looking for it to be fun and not too stuffy or cheesy. Abby & Rogers are interested in making their wedding as unique and timeless as possible for their guests who have potentially seen it all!

“No matter how many times someone says, “live in the moment” and “enjoy every moment” I think that might be impossible. The celebration flies by and is so incredibly magical but with Julian the planning is just as rewarding and fun as the celebration.”
