Fortunately, they found a team with experience planning weekend celebrations abroad. And we knew how to make their Florida-southern-vibes-meets-the-Virgin-Islands dreams come true. What that looked like was building partnerships with the local vendors who held a special place in this family's heart. It meant getting on the phone practically every day to ensure the florist knew how big the flowers really needed to be.
The result was a wedding weekend brimming with beautiful details, yes, but also emotional moments. Like when the bride carried a family Bible down the aisle - the same one every bride on the groom's side had carried and signed before her. And when her mom found a piece of blue sea glass and tucked it into her bouquet so she had something blue. It's when everything (and everyone) comes together in the end that makes a wedding so special.
And then there was a hurricane. But that's a story for another time.
When planning a destination wedding, you need someone you can trust to get the details right. Especially when the destination is a place near and dear to your heart. Such was the case for Caitlin and D.A. The groom's family calls The Ritz Carlton in St. Thomas their second home, so it was naturally the perfect fit for their wedding day festivities. But, as the couple lives in Florida, they needed a destination planner to ensure their bases were covered and their visions upheld.
With the right steps, the right decisions, you’ll naturally have an amazing celebration - and have a little fun along the way too.
Let’s dream together.
I see a world of possibilities for you.
And that’s a pretty fun place to start.
