Tying Paris into the wedding design began at the rehearsal dinner, which we modeled after a chic street café. Picture bistro-inspired striped seating, with plant centerpieces on the tablescapes to evoke the city’s lush green spaces. The toasts were witty and the food delicious, befitting the Parisian theme, as the couple and their loved ones settled in for a weekend of celebrating.

But the spirit of Paris truly came alive at the couple’s reception inside their historic venue, Union Station Dallas. The space beckoned guests to escape into a Parisian garden, with fresh lilac scent wafting through the air and candles twinkling on the tablescapes. A wall of potted trees hung with pretty gold lamps accented the far wall, an homage to the city’s famous, tree-lined avenues. The tidy floral centerpieces, composed in romantic hues of blush, lavender, and dusky mauve, also set the scene—reminiscent of a manicured, French-style garden.

A live band took the stage afterward and amplified the energy in the room, drawing nearly everyone to the dance floor as others snuck off to converse and sip custom cocktails in the side lounge. The guest list closely resembled that of Leah’s brother’s wedding, so it was wonderful to catch up with everyone as we saw the evening to its stunning conclusion: a silver streamer send-off!

If Paris is the most romantic city in the world, then Leah and Isidro’s love story had the most auspicious beginning possible! The two met while studying abroad in the City of Light, and, years later, that fated introduction became the basis for planning their wedding at Dallas’ Union Station.

This couple trusted us implicitly. We planned Leah’s brother Alex’s wedding in the same year, and we’ve found that the biggest benefit of planning generational weddings is that the couple has seen what we are capable of firsthand and knows we will take care of every last detail.

The couple’s rehearsal dinner at Sixty Vines kicked off the festivities, followed by a boots and blazers-theme welcome party at Hotel Crescent Court.
