The bride’s love of ginkgo trees inspired several arrangements, including the saplings that flanked their ceremony.
Dinner followed in a custom-built tent on the terrace, where guests sat at tables draped in color-blocked linens dyed in red, rust, olive green, and peacock blue shades to create a cascade of color through the space, reminiscent of an artist’s palette. Indeed, nearly every detail celebrated the couple’s love of art. A friend created original artwork to adorn the backs of the menu cards, while the sculptural cake mimicked the pieces in the Center’s garden with its pattern of interlocking waves.
Not content to stop celebrating following the gourmet meal, everyone headed to the afterparty in the underground theater. Hanging chrome spheres, a sleek cocktail bar, and an NYC nightclub-inspired lounge space promised a party for the ages. Regan and Nick even flew their favorite DJ in from NYC to bring all the vibes of a night out in the city that never sleeps! A nightcap at the iconic Dallas bar, the Stoneleigh P, was the perfect sendoff.
What happens when an art collector from Dallas moves to New York City and finds the love of her life? They return to Texas to exchange their vows surrounded by family and friends and bring the electric energy of the Big Apple with them.
Our bride Regan takes after her art-collecting parents, and all share a deep connection with Dallas’ Nasher Sculpture Center. Naturally, she and her partner Nick knew they wanted to celebrate their nuptials at the Center, surrounded by the work of legendary sculptors.
But beyond their desire for a specific venue, the couple shared an even more unique vision: to wed in the outdoor garden by candlelight, underneath the glow of Texas stars.
We pulled from classic fall hues—think deep burgundy and brilliant scarlet offset with pops of peach and yellow—to craft the color palette for the ceremony florals, creating a warmly inviting space that beckoned with the promise of romance.
With the right steps, the right decisions, you’ll naturally have an amazing celebration - and have a little fun along the way too.
Let’s dream together.
I see a world of possibilities for you.
And that’s a pretty fun place to start.
