Every element was carefully chosen to evoke the essence of a classic painting. A towering cake, reminiscent of a 16th-century French masterpiece, stood as a centerpiece while tall golden candelabras and sumptuous linens adorned the tables.
But the true magic lay in the embrace of cherished family traditions. Elle's childhood memories of Flippen Park, where generations of couples became engaged, became the backdrop for her own first look with Kevin. It was such a special moment as Elle was able to add her story to the generations of women who came before her. Elle and Kevin love hosting parties, and it’s hard to imagine they’ll outdo themselves after this one!
Crafting a wedding that feels like a masterpiece is no small feat, but when Elle shared her vision of stepping into a classic still-life painting, we knew we were in for something truly special.
Elle had a clear vision for her big day. Her Pinterest board was brimming with photos of old still-life paintings. She wanted her wedding to feel like the guests had just stepped into one of those paintings! If you know us, you know that we never shy away from a challenge, and guiding a couple's unique vision to fruition is what we’re all about. So, we excitedly began the planning journey—with Elle and Kevin participating remotely from their NYC home. Drawing inspiration from centuries-old fashions and antique artwork, we curated a day steeped in romance and nostalgia, with a traditional ceremony at Perkins Chapel followed by a reception at the esteemed Dallas Country Club.
With the right steps, the right decisions, you’ll naturally have an amazing celebration - and have a little fun along the way too.
Let’s dream together.
I see a world of possibilities for you.
And that’s a pretty fun place to start.
