The six-layer wedding cake was a moment, covered in fondant with a daint, dusty blue floral pattern. We sketched out the design during a tour of Rosewood Mansion, and the couple was so excited to see their wedding dreams coming to fruition. And speaking of dreams, we could never go without mentioning the blue and white dance floor! The checkered floral design was the perfect complement.
The couple's Texas roots were woven throughout the weekend, from the laidback welcome party with country music and an embroidery station to the oversized cowboy hats guests wore on the dance floor. A live band kept the energy flowing, and the dance floor was packed all night (the photos are some of our favorites from the day!). And the celebration didn’t stop there—it continued with an after-party complete with a coffee bar and late-night hamburgers.
Lauren and Connor envisioned a Grandmillennial-inspired wedding, but they didn’t want their special day to look like everyone else’s. They trusted our team to help them realize their vision while reinventing it into something one-of-a-kind. We always say that no two Julian Leaver Events weddings look alike, and we like to think we put our money where our mouth is with this one!
While blue and white set the stage, we sprinkled in unexpected hues, infusing their day with a fresh, modern twist. Picture vintage tableware accented with hints of green and floral arrangements popping with shades of pink—a symphony of colors in perfect Grandmillennial harmony.
With the right steps, the right decisions, you’ll naturally have an amazing celebration - and have a little fun along the way too.
Let’s dream together.
I see a world of possibilities for you.
And that’s a pretty fun place to start.
