Through her wedding, Leigh wanted to honor her mother's legacy while simultaneously celebrating the beginning of her own. With this in mind, we created a one-of-a-kind outdoor ceremony and reception at the Montage Laguna Beach—a special escape that had been a place of healing for Leigh and her family after her mother passed. To accomplish Leigh's goal of simply showing up to enjoy a beautiful event that had been completely handled on her behalf, I relied on my network of trusted vendor partners. The moral of the story? With the right team in place, it really is possible to be guest at your own wedding.⠀
My friendship with Leigh, the beautiful bride, began as most good stories do...over caffeinated beverages at Ascension Coffee in Dallas. At first take, Leigh's problem might not sound like a bad one to have—she was working with a healthy budget but had no idea what to do with it. Going a bit deeper, her mother had passed away two years prior, which contributed to Leigh's uncertainty about the planning process. She deeply desired to honor her mother's legacy while simultaneously celebrating the beginning of her own. And while she was thrilled to be getting married, she didn't necessarily want to be involved in the myriad of decisions involved with wedding planning. Her ultimate goal? To be a guest at her own event.
With the right steps, the right decisions, you’ll naturally have an amazing celebration - and have a little fun along the way too.
Let’s dream together.
I see a world of possibilities for you.
And that’s a pretty fun place to start.
