You may not think that downtown San Antonio has anything in common with the lush countryside of France, but that didn’t stop us from bringing Louisa and Gordon’s wedding day vision to life! Set against the soulful backdrop of the Southwest Craft Center in San Antonio, the historic stonework with stained glass accents made this Texas wedding feel softly European.
Louisa and Gordon came to us knowing exactly what they wanted. They even made their own tablecloths, sourced many of the items personally, and decopaged their own John Darion prints! They understood that it is the small details that create an unforgettable, elegant experience. We partnered with Jackson Durham Events to handle the intricate logistics of this wedding, including taking all of the materials off of the bride and groom’s hands to create their perfect wedding experience.
Tucked away in the private gardens, Louisa walked down an aisle lined with asymmetrical, organic greenery while a string quartet set the tone for the ceremony. She and Gordon looked radiant as they declared their vows beneath the open-air pavilion. After, they joined their guests for cocktail hour in the courtyard, surrounded by historic buildings with beautiful balconies. The outdoor martini bar was a favorite with the guests, and the botanical accents only enhanced the French countryside theme.
A large part of our luxury wedding planning process is getting to know our couples so we can understand and execute their vision perfectly. Louisa and Gordon had been dreaming of this moment for so long, and it took a lot of trust for them to let us tackle the last-minute details. But our hours of conversation well prepared us to arrange everything exactly as they would have done themselves. We were overjoyed to see their incredible reaction as they entered the venue on the day of their wedding. That is the core of what we do! Watching our couples see their vision come to life is the best part of our job.
With the right steps, the right decisions, you’ll naturally have an amazing celebration - and have a little fun along the way too.
Let’s dream together.
I see a world of possibilities for you.
And that’s a pretty fun place to start.
