Fortunately, we had a trick up our sleeve! We worked around the policy by having a silent disco. And the DJ surprised everyone by bringing in another DJ who engaged in a fantastic musical duel, creating an interactive element that had everyone on their feet.
Of course, a wedding can't go entirely without a few unexpected hurdles. New Year's Eve was an unusual 80 degrees, causing us to switch from heating to cooling the venue space. Additionally, considering the circumstances, we ensured that everyone involved in the wedding was tested for Covid to provide peace of mind for the couple and their guests.
One of our favorite event memories was when the DJ surprised the couple with cryo guns. Watching the bride and groom giggling like children, filling the air with foggy fun, made any memory of a setback slip away.
Moments like these remind us how a little flexibility and the willingness to adapt can transform any challenge into a cherished memory. And with the right team by your side, any dream wedding can become a reality.
Julian worked with this amazing couple for almost two years, as they had initially planned their wedding during the Covid pandemic. But like many couples during that time, circumstances led them to postpone their plans and have a beautiful mini-wedding at a family member's home instead. Later, they would have a grand event on New Year's Eve to celebrate their love and welcome in 2022.
Since they had already had their mini-ceremony, the couple hoped to have an unforgettable reception to keep their guests dancing until midnight. They opted for a seated dinner and hired a fantastic band to play. Unfortunately, the venue had a strict noise policy that said the band had to stop playing at 10 p.m. But this was New Year's Eve, and the couple and their guests wanted to party until midnight.
With the right steps, the right decisions, you’ll naturally have an amazing celebration - and have a little fun along the way too.
Let’s dream together.
I see a world of possibilities for you.
And that’s a pretty fun place to start.
