We planned four days of events for this unforgettable wedding weekend, starting with a welcome party the evening guests arrived. With paella, Iberico ham, gin and tonic, and a cigar roller, the welcome party got everyone in the spirit of the weekend and culture. The second night invited everyone to join the bride- and groom-to-be in a family-style dinner. All the dinners were the full, three-hour-long Spanish dinner experience, and guests loved every second of it. The space was decorated with old Spanish posters, and our lovely florist created napkins to match the posters, pulling the entire event together.

The weather on the day of the wedding threatened to storm, but the bride created a “positivity bubble,” and it worked! Though it rained in the surrounding regions and we could even see lightning from afar, it never rained near the venue. This allowed Angelica and Sami to have their perfect wedding ceremony and reception under a pergola overlooking the ocean. With roses climbing the marble pillars at the reception and long, dramatic head tables for the reception, their entire wedding day dripped with romance.

After dinner, drag queens Paprika and Red Velvet kicked off the party. The size of the venue made the atmosphere like an exotic nightclub. Pair that with the mechanical bull, and Angelica and Sami had themselves a truly unforgettable wedding weekend!

Sometimes plan B is the best plan. Angelica and Sami had originally been planning to get married in Cleveland, but a series of events made them reconsider. Instead, this NYC couple chose to plan their wedding in Costa Brava, Spain, and we think it was a phenomenal decision.

Planning a destination wedding requires additional layers of planning, and we left nothing up to chance. We were on-site three months before the wedding, ensuring that everything would come together seamlessly. Managing the logistics of a destination wedding requires a keen attention to detail and open communication with all parties. Angelica and Sami wanted an authentic Spanish experience. Luckily, we have partners all over the world. We gathered an all-star team of vendors from both the United States and Spain. This allowed us to truly soak in the culture and let it permeate every aspect of their wedding weekend.
