Setting the Scene

Cassie and Diego, you met in Chicago and have done some serious traveling together! Having lived in Chicago, Dallas, Big Sky, and Nashville you’ve seen several parts of the country together following Diego’s impressive culinary career. After Diego proposed recently in Big Sky while on a hike with a gorgeous view! The two of you are excited to get started with wedding planning and are seeking a planner that can help you bring this celebration to life.

Your vision for the evening is a stunning, elevated garden party that doesn’t feel generic, but a true reflection of the two of you and your story as a couple. You’re considering two venues, Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek and Arlington Hall. Both will help you achieve the event flow you’re aiming for of an outdoor ceremony in a garden setting, followed by cocktails, a spectacular seated dinner in a tent, and a dance party indoors, that will allow your intimate guest count to be together, mix, mingle, and really bond over this shared experience.

Cassie, you love a fresh garden aesthetic with lots of greenery, and are excited to dive into some fun experiential details that will set this wedding apart from others you’ve attended or seen online. Beyond the look of the day, the food will be a major piece of the evening. Diego, as a chef, curating the meal you and Cassie will serve your guests is something you’re looking forward to! A seated dinner with some unexpected elements, thoughtful wine pairings and a romantic candlelit atmosphere will be a memorable part of the evening.

Beyond the wedding day, you have a significant portion of your guest count traveling in for the occasion. You’d like to kick the weekend off with a rehearsal dinner, followed by a welcome reception. The day following the wedding, a fun farewell brunch, possibly poolside, with some refreshing cocktails where guests can hang out and reminisce about fun moments from the evening before will be the perfect cap to this weekend.

With planning from a distance, moves and busy lives on your plate, you’re looking for a planner to assist with both vendor and logistics support and overall concept and design. You will have a wedding with your closest circle in attendance and are looking for it to be fun, elegant, but not over-the-top. Cassie and Diego, you are interested in making your wedding as unique as possible for your guests who have potentially seen it all, and we stand ready to assist you in that cause.

• Assist in incorporating both of your past histories into your future together

Planner

I wear many hats (er bow ties.) I’m a diplomat, designer, advisor, counselor, sounding board,  dreamer… The list goes on.

I’ve dabbled and directed everything from catering sales and management for the Crescent Hotel and Rosewood Mansion, to wedding planning and floral design for Bella Flora of Dallas. And along this 15 year journey here’s what I know is true…

And that way is whatever way makes you most comfortable.

I subscribe to the Platinum Rule of treat others as THEY would like to be treated. And as a Washington School of Protocol-trained expert, I’ve learned that etiquette is about making others feel comfortable.
