Personalized Wedding Plan Moran & Senter

Mark & Meg
Wedding Season: September – November 2021
Ceremony Location: St. Rita Catholic Church
Wedding Reception Location: To Be Determined; Short List to Include: Arboretum – Camp House; Joule Hotel; Marie Gabrielle; Union Station
Setting the Scene
Meg and Mark have been engaged for exactly a week today, following his surprise proposal at Marie Gabrielle, but they have known each other and been friends since their freshman year at TCU. They started actually dating their Junior year and the rest is history. Amazingly they grew up just a mile apart, but never knew each other until college. After dating long distance for a bit following college, Mark had moved to Houston for work, they are finally both back in Dallas!
They are looking to plan a wedding in the fall of 2021 and have settled on St. Rita Catholic Church for the ceremony, but are still searching for the perfect reception space, and most importantly they want something that is not typical to other weddings they have attended. They will have around 200-250 guests and would like to hold the reception in a location that allows for a variety of experiences for their diverse guest count. They are also interested in a party that allows for a seated dinner so that everyone is moving together through the evening with a black tie optional dress code so that guests know they don’t have head out to buy a brand new long dress just to attend.
While they both lean toward a style that is more modern but classic, Meg and Mark believe in an understated less is more type of atmosphere that truly reflects them as a couple. They are both into food as well so ensuring the meal is memorable is a very important aspect of the evening, especially for Mark, while Meg’s focus will be on the decor and making sure that their eventual reception space feels full yet appropriate to make their event truly intimate. Additionally, they are very into music so a great party band is a huge must.
Planning for the first time, they are interested in a planning package that includes both vendor and logistics support and overall concept and design. They will have a wedding with a large number of their friends in attendance and are looking for it to be fun and not too stuffy. Meg and Mark are interested in making their wedding as unique as possible for their guests who have potentially seen it all!

Praise
“I have been in a handful of weddings and truly have not seen one wedding planner be as organized and efficient as Julian. We will forever be thanking him for his time, his talent, and his infectious energy for making our wedding the most perfect weekend.”
— Kasey, Bride

Kasey & Nash – Dallas, Texas

Gabrielle & Will – San Miguel, Mexico
“No matter how many times someone says, “live in the moment” and “enjoy every moment” I think that might be impossible. The celebration flies by and is so incredibly magical but with Julian the planning is just as rewarding and fun as the celebration.”
— Gabrielle, Bride
Planner
I wear many hats (er bow ties.) I’m a diplomat, designer, advisor, counselor, sounding board, dreamer… The list goes on.
I’ve dabbled and directed everything from catering sales and management for the Crescent Hotel and Rosewood Mansion, to wedding planning and floral design for Bella Flora of Dallas. And along this 15 year journey here’s what I know is true…
THERE’S A RIGHT WAY…
And that way is whatever way makes you most comfortable.
I subscribe to the Platinum Rule of treat others as THEY would like to be treated. And as a Washington School of Protocol-trained expert, I’ve learned that etiquette is about making others feel comfortable.
That’s why, I’ll meet you wherever you are on this planning journey. And we’ll walk the path together. With discretion and good judgement.
After all, the way you feel determines how your guests will feel. And I want them to feel fabulous!
