Setting the Scene

Madison & Landon just got engaged after almost 6 years of dating and are excited for this next big phase of celebration. You connected in Baton Rouge while Madison was completing nursing school at LSU and met serendipitously at your condo complex’s pool. This upcoming year will bring a move for Madison to Houston, finally ending a stint of long-distance dating. You’re both excited to bring friends and family together in Dallas for your wedding and are seeking a planner to help you pull it off seamlessly.

You’ve booked your venue, Arlington Hall, after falling in love with the Southern feel of the space and the beautiful gardens surrounding. Your vision is for a ceremony at the Pavillion or the Formal Garden followed by cocktails in the foyer, and dinner and dancing in the Great Hall. Of course, a big party band is a must, and you’ve booked Downtown Fever to keep guests dancing all night. The dinner portion of the evening will be stations style where guests will mingle enjoying different small plates throughout the night, that will allow for all of your guests to be together, mix, mingle, and really bond over this shared experience.

While you both lean toward an aesthetic that is more classic and traditional, Madison and Landon, you really believe in an understated less is more type of atmosphere that truly reflects you as a couple and will allow for a relaxed vibe in an elevated atmosphere. You’re envisioning a lush and lovely floral palette with hints of pale blue throughout, and plenty of candlelight. The look is Southern and traditional, made light, bright and fresh for a modern couple.

Madison, you love little details and want to make the most of each aspect of the wedding day. Incorporating Arlington Hall’s front porch that overlooks Turtle Creek in to the layout in a creative way is a piece you’d like to collaborate on. Some fun and thoughtful signage, custom items for the bar service, will make the day special for you and Landon and tell your story on this most important day. Making the day feel true to the two of you, unlike any other wedding, and also not totally “over the top” is a fine balance you’re working to create and are seeking a planner that can make smart recommendations that maximize each and every element of this celebration.

The two of you have a great jump on planning and are very organized, but also incredibly busy people. You’re in the middle of a big move, adjusting jobs and adding wedding planning to the mix is a lot to handle. Ensuring you have a trusted partner to bring your vision to life, keep you on track and make this process enjoyable is key to the success of this wedding, and we stand ready to assist you in that cause.
