Setting the Scene

Caitlin and D.A. you met at work about 4 years ago, and after getting engaged in April you’re ready to celebrate this next joyful phase. You’ve had to take a short break from wedding planning to get through D.A.’s injury recovery and are now ready to get back on track with planning a wedding for next year. You’re a busy couple, both working, building a home and planning a wedding and seeking a full-service wedding planner to help you bring these celebrations together seamlessly.

You have a vision for a wedding ceremony and reception with an intimate group of people at the Ritz-Carlton St. Thomas, a location that has been a special place for D.A.’s family growing up, and now holds significance for you both. You want to keep this weekend lovely but not over-the-top and most of all truly want to be able to enjoy this time with family and friends.

While this aspect of the wedding is still in the beginning stages, you’re picturing a welcome dinner in St. John after a boat cruise across the bay, giving your guests the flavor of this tropical oasis. The following day, will be the main event with an oceanside ceremony followed by dinner and dancing in the ballroom on property. Keeping these moments fun, memorable, and well thought out are key to a successful weekend hosting your nearest and dearest in St. Thomas.

After relaxing as a couple on an extended honeymoon, you’d like to celebrate with a larger group of friends and family in California, finding a location that’s beautiful and easy for guests to travel to. This event should be a fun celebration of your recent marriage and feels like an elevated party atmosphere. You’re open to various locations in California but are considering the Newport Beach area at the core of your search.

Caitlin, you’re a total details person and want to work with a planner that understands your taste and can execute it with precision allowing you to trust and enjoy this time of being engaged! Planner

I wear many hats (er bow ties.) I’m a diplomat, designer, advisor, counselor, sounding board,  dreamer… The list goes on.

I’ve dabbled and directed everything from catering sales and management for the Crescent Hotel and Rosewood Mansion, to wedding planning and floral design for Bella Flora of Dallas. And along this 15 year journey here’s what I know is true…

I subscribe to the Platinum Rule of treat others as THEY would like to be treated. And as a Washington School of Protocol-trained expert, I’ve learned that etiquette is about making others feel comfortable.
