Setting the Scene
Yadira is about to turn 15! You have been working hard in school and your birthday is coming up next year. What better way to celebrate this milestone than with a party for your friends and family hosted by your parents, Martha and Salvador Portillo. Martha and Salvador, you are both quite busy, so planning a birthday on your own is not something that either of you can take on at the moment and you both realize that the details really matter and you want to make sure you get it right!
You are looking to plan Yadira’s Quinceanera on a Saturday in September 2022, with around 200 guests and are just in the beginning stages of planning. You know that you want to plan your event in Dallas, at a location that allows you to bring in both the food and alcohol, has a great reputation, and will allow for easy access for your guests. But, most importantly you want something that is not typical to other events you have attended and that feels authentically like your family and are searching for someone to help translate your dreams into reality.
Your vision of an event that is beautiful, elegant, and approachable, and that brings a memorable and unique vibe (a great meal and some unexpected surprises) will allow for all of your guests to be together, mix, mingle, and really bond over this shared experience. It is incredibly important that you find a planner who can assist you in navigating all of the choices that are available, while also helping execute your personal intimate entertaining style.
While you lean toward an aesthetic that is more elegant, Yadira, Martha, and Salvador, you really believe in an understated less is more type of atmosphere that truly reflects you as a family and will allow for a relaxed vibe in an elevated atmosphere. You are all into food as well so ensuring the meal and bar errs on the side of great is a very important aspect of the evening, especially for Salvador, while you Yadira & Martha will be focused on the decor (i.e. understated, elegant, and inviting in tones of white, blush, green and gold…and possibly some color) and making sure that your dining space feels full yet appropriate to make your event truly intimate.
Planning with intention, you are interested in a planning package that includes both vendor and logistics support and overall concept and design. You will have an event with your closest circle in attendance and are looking for it to be fun and not too stuffy. Yadira, Martha, and Salvador, you are interested in making this milestone birthday as special as possible for your guests who have potentially seen it all and I stand ready to assist you in that cause.
