I always say that events are a lot like mazes in that they’re filled with lots of twists and turns. The good news? I know exactly how to navigate every curve. Below you’ll find an overview of exactly what it takes to bring a dream Dallas wedding to life, as well as a few notes about my process—a process that’s been designed to make your journey down the aisle as seamless and straightforward as possible.

Pinterest inspirations are wonderful resources, and suggestions from friends are certainly valuable. However, more often than not, information gleaned from these sources does not come with an attached price tag. Case Study: 2019 Ballroom Wedding at Union Station

Although they were working with a large guest list and an even larger ballroom, they wanted to be sure that their reception remained personal. To break down their venue without breaking the bank, we designed outside the box and partitioned off the space with lattice fencing and plenty of boxwood. The result? An intimate, indoor garden party that was refreshingly original in every way.

This couple chose to host their wedding reception at Union Station in Dallas, a gorgeous venue with plenty of room for everyone on their guest list. Almost TOO MUCH room, in fact. As we began pulling together a design scheme that matched their vision for an indoor garden party, we kept returning to a central question: How do you make a huge space feel intimate?

  • Step 2 | I’ll assemble the right vendor team. Even if you desire a traditional Dallas wedding, your day doesn’t have to look the same as anyone else’s. Dallas has a plethora of highly-vetted vendors to choose from, and many of them do showcase a “signature style” via their online portfolios and Instagram accounts. But you’d be surprised by how many of them are also willing (and excited) to step outside of the box in order to create something different. Your planner is the trusted advisor responsible for communicating your vision and propelling it forward, so it’s important to choose the right partner. I put my connections to work on your behalf to ensure you receive truly original design plans that align with your tastes and preferences, followed by flawless event execution.

  • Step 3 | We’ll work together to incorporate personal touches. Although nearly every wedding follows a similar itinerary—ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, sendoff—personal touches are the difference-makers that will keep your day from feeling formulaic. At this wedding, we surprised the groom by creating a secondary bar that opened later in the evening. Then, while guests sipped on signature cocktails, the “Spirit of Troy” USC marching band made a special appearance on the dance floor. Through proper budget management, we’ll ensure that you’re able to host, entertain, and surprise and delight attendees at every turn in a way that perfectly reflects your relationship.
